I value sleep.

Last night I slept so hard that my alarm went off for 2 hours before I heard it.

How in the world could one be so tired?

My lovely friend (and co-worker) Marek got married and left me with a few more accounts for a few weeks.

I’m so glad you enjoyed Europe, Marek, but I’m so glad you’re back. Sure, I’m glad you’re back for work, but mostly, I’m glad you’re here to laugh at my jokes.

I pretended it was 2008 when Mary Kate, Kirby, Hannah, Hannah’s husband loaded up in my car and headed to Stillwater for my favorite day of the year: Oklahoma State Homecoming.

If that wasn’t good enough – my soul mate, Stacy was in town. My heart swoons with joy thinking about my happy place.

My wonderful, amazing, most-perfect job in the world has been really busy. Sure, I’ve been given the opportunity to play with baby tigers (Yes, T., I realize they’re cubs), but there’s a lot you don’t see.

My job is like an iceberg. The words you read and the pictures you see on social media are just the tip. The rest of the work - planning, reports, editing, design, meetings, phone calls, brainstorming, relationship building, driving, managing - that’s really what my job is about.

I love every single thing about it. Even the days I come home and crash on the couch.

Oh, and somehow the college football stars aligned and the OU/Notre Dame game pulled T in! Yes, this means I spent my first game day in Norman. My orange heart hurt a little, but for that guy it was worth it.

It’s not every day that Dreamboat of mine is in town. Really, it’s not. He hasn’t been in the 405 since June.

Now that I’ve caught up on sleep it’s time I get caught back up on my personal life. I only have approximately 4.2 million unanswered text messages and phone calls to return.

Over & out.
