Hi.

This blog and I have been through a lot together: graduate school, first jobs, second jobs, cross-country moves, third jobs, fourth jobs, funerals, an engagement, a marriage ... and a divorce.

We've learned a lot, grown even more and we're still adventuring.

Let's adventure together.

Before and After

It's ridiculous that I'm pouting about a few lost flowers. My grandpa loses acres of crops at a time. Dallyn and her special boy went to the farm and checked the wheat. Looks like it's a good year for crop insurance. After experiencing hail damage of this caliber to my own things, and looking at what once was a flowerbed I spent all weekend on, I see the heartache entire fields would cause. And much more than a weekend is spent on them....

However, I did call it. If you refer back to this post I said:

Note: It’s possible these plants will die. However, I will honestly try to keep them alive. I realize this isn’t your average goldfish project.

Goldfish don't deal with hail. And, apparently I forgot to knock on wood.

Oh, well. The life of a rookie gardener will go on.
