An Indiana Tornado

It's no secret my genes are from north of the Mason Dixon in a county feeling the effects of urban sprawl. Each holiday my relocated family makes a direct line to the 317 in anticipation of a good dose of family drama. Someday - I'm going to write a book regarding the dysfunctionally-functional family who makes my heart fill to the brim with these things I've been told are emotions.

You've been warned, family.

Five pounds of fudge induced love handles later, I'm sitting in an airport waiting for my connection back to the 405.

The people watching is slim, the food is awful and I just laughed. out. loud. As a kid tumbled off a rolling suitcase.

Life is pretty good these days.
