I don’t leave home without these Beautycounter Products
As a Beautycounter manager, I receive a kickback by way of commissions for anything you purchase using my link. This revenue does two things: one, this past year it’s supplemented my self-employed digital strategy consultant income while focusing on balancing a breast cancer treatment plan; and two, it is allocated to a line-item in our YNAB budget for “Brooke’s Big Trip.” (If you’re into budgeting, get a free month of YNAB using my referral link.)
When packing for a two-week stay at my best-friends house for surgery recovery, I was determined to pack the essentials.
I’ll slide on your smart phone with surgery recovery essentials, but first I’m giving you the lineup to save you from sliding into my DMs asking which Beautycounter products you should try first.
The bottom line: my favorites might not be your favorites. I’m a 33 year old menopausal new mama, which means my skin has different needs than yours. That said, these are a few of my musts.
I use Beautycounter products for a few reasons. The obvious is a cancer diagnosis sent me into a spiral of researching every product in my house. Cancer survivors, and people in the health care industry, suggested the product and I was pleasantly surprised my skin began glowing … while in treatment. It was wild. One round of chemo temporarily removed my fingerprints yet, my skin looked better than it ever had before.
Counter + All Bright C Serum
Traveling coast-to-coast as a producer was brutal on my skin. When able, I squeezed in a session with an esthetician and regardless of timezone skin care professionals repeatedly recommended adding a vitamin c serum to my skin care routine to combat long hours, changing geographies, and dry airplanes.
I use this new product, Counter+ All Bright C Serum, daily.
Counter+ Overnight Resurfacing Peel
A true skin care cheat code. Use this product a few times a week and while you sleep the Beautycounter fairies give your skin a glow up.
Hydrating Body Lotion in Citrus Mimosa
Lotion should smell delicious. Hard stop.
Countertime
“Welcome to the new age of aging well.” - the first line of the product description. Hi, Brooke Taylor, here for the new mom and menopausal anonymous meeting. If you’re leveling up in years and/or fighting weird hormonally changing skin, this is pretty solid. Can confirm from experience.
I for sure could recommend all the things, but these are my current essentials. Read up on the Never List and try a few products. Man, if you don’t like ‘em, they have a 60 day return policy
XO.
